Telesalud
The Alliance is proud to support technology that helps members access medically necessary services when and where they need them. Telehealth services can be provided by Alliance-contracted primary care providers, physician assistants (PAs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) with linked Alliance Medi-Cal members. Supervising primary care providers are required to oversee all telehealth cases submitted by PAs or NPs.
All participating providers must agree to follow Medi-Cal guidelines and utilize telehealth services exclusively for Alliance Medi-Cal members without other health care coverage. For eligibility information and participation requirements, see Section 6 of the Alliance Provider Manual.
Alliance Telehealth Options
We offer two telehealth options for providers to utilize: eConsult and TeleSpecialty Care.
