About the Alliance
Central California Alliance for Health (the Alliance) is a local public agency that serves as the regional Medi-Cal health plan. Using the state’s County Organized Health System (COHS) model, we serve members in Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties. We work in partnership with our contracted providers to promote prevention, early detection and effective treatment, and improve access to quality health care for those we serve. Our work results in the delivery of innovative community-based health care services, better medical outcomes and cost savings. The Alliance is governed with local representation from each county on our Board of Commissioners.
The Alliance:
- Has a local presence in the communities we serve. We understand the unique needs of our communities and our members.
- Is committed to providing care guided by cultural humility. We reflect that promise through a culturally diverse workforce and provider network.
- Maintains a wide network of local doctors and specialists so that members get access to the right care, at the right time.
- Ensures quality care for all ages and stages of life and for all health conditions.
- Is a local ally for compassionate and trusted health care.
- Understands that our members' needs go beyond health care.
We commit to connecting our members to community resources they need for daily life.
