Between June and August, the Alliance participated in 120 events and met over 11,000 community members at health fairs and community celebrations across our five-county region.
Most notably, the Alliance’s outreach team ramped up our pop-up outreach activities throughout our service areas. Pop-ups are opportunities to meet our members where they are, in locations that they usually frequent. Past pop-ups have been held at community support groups, farmers’ markets, summer food distribution sites and senior centers.
When attending health fairs, community celebrations and pop-up events, our goal is to provide education to our members about their health plan. This includes information about our Nurse Advice Line, transportation and language assistance services, health education programs, health rewards and other important updates.
