关于此临时职位

This is a temporary position and the length of assignment is estimated to go from May 2025 through December 31, 2025. The length of the assignment is always dependent on business need and dates may change. While the assignment would be at the Alliance, if selected, you would be an employee of a temporary employment agency that we would connect you with.

Reporting to the Health Services Supervisor, this position:

• Processes basic incoming treatment and referral authorization requests and verifies member plan eligibility

• • Working knowledge of standard business office practices and equipment
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology or billing codes procedures
  • Some knowledge of the principles and practices of customer service

• • Ability to verify eligibility information utilizing various organizational sources
  • Ability to interpret, explain, and apply processes, policies and procedures
  • Ability to quickly learn each line of business conducted by the health plan
  • Ability to quickly learn and skillfully navigate Alliance computer systems
  • Ability to identify, maintain, and protect Personal Health Information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and follow Alliance policies and procedures to ensure the security of such information

  • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in the health care field.

• • An Associate’s degree may substitute for one year of the required experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
