When you call Member Services to ask for a copy of your Member ID card, you can get a digital copy. This means you can get a copy of your ID on your smartphone right away instead of waiting up to 10 business days to get a printed card in the mail.
How to get a digital ID
This is how you can get your digital Alliance Member ID card:
- Call Member Services to ask for your digital ID. Make sure to call with your smartphone. You can call 800-700-3874 (TTY: Dial 711), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- A Member Services representative will send you a secure text to download a copy of your ID to your smartphone.
- Click the secure link to get your ID. Then enter your last name and date of birth. Once you enter your information correctly, you can download your ID card.
If you are a head of your household, you can also get a digital ID for your children.
Here are some important things to know:
- Members who have opted out of Alliance texts cannot get a digital ID card unless they opt back in to texts by texting START to 59849.
- Member must have a web-enabled smartphone to complete the process to get their digital ID.
- Member should download or screenshot their digital ID to their phone after getting it. The text will time out, so you will not be able to click the link again to get to the card.
- If a provider needs a photocopy of your ID for their records, they can take a photocopy or scan of the digital ID when you come in for your appointment. To get your digital ID photocopied, turn off your phone notifications and pull up your ID on your phone screen. Then, give your phone to the front office staff so they can scan your ID.

Can I text the Alliance to get a digital ID card?
Not at this time. You must call Member Services to get a digital copy of your ID card.
Can I still get a printed ID card if I would like to?
Yes, you can still request a printed ID card to replace yours if it gets lost or misplaced. Note that it may take up to 10 business days to receive it in the mail. You can ask for a printed ID card by filling out the Replace ID Card form on our website or by calling Member Services.
