Purpose
At the Alliance, we believe that housing is health care. The Alliance Housing Fund helps expand temporary and permanent housing opportunities for Medi-Cal members across the Alliance’s service areas.
Funded Projects
The Alliance's Housing Fund provided capital funds to county health agencies and community-based organizations to build, purchase, renovate and/or furnish interim and permanent supportive housing units, recuperative care facilities and short-term post-hospitalization housing units across the Alliance's service area, including Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties.
The Alliance awarded $40 million through the Housing Fund to projects that address the critical issue of homelessness and housing insecurity among Medi-Cal members. All funded projects have units designated to Medi-Cal beneficiaries.
