The Alliance offers a wide variety of health and wellness resources for our members.
The Alliance is committed to encouraging early detection and preventive screenings for women's health issues. The Alliance sends monthly preventative mailings to remind members who, according to claims data, are due for:
- Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment services.
- Well visits.
Reports listing linked members who are due for screenings and services are available to all providers in the Alliance Provider Portal.
When Alliance members have health questions, the Nurse Advice Line (NAL) is a good place to start. It’s free, fast and easy. Members can call the Nurse Advice Line at 844-971-8907 (TTY: 711) to be connected 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A registered nurse will answer member health questions and give advice on care options. If necessary, NAL staff can schedule follow-up appointments directly with the member’s primary care provider (PCP).
The Nurse Advice Line helps to:
- Improve member satisfaction and access to care.
- Avoid inappropriate use of the emergency department.
- Redirect members to primary care where appropriate.

Members or providers can also call the Alliance Health Education Line to request a free copy of “What to Do When Your Child Gets Sick.” This easy-to-read book for parents and caregivers of children from birth to 8 years of age includes health care tips on what to do if a child gets sick.
