The Department of Health Care Services has made updates to multiple All Plan Letters (APL). These changes are important to know, as it may impact how you provide services.
The following APLs have been updated:
- DHCS APL 24-009 which seeks to move Medi-Cal to a more consistent and seamless system by reducing complexity and increasing flexibility through benefit standardization.
- DHCS APL 24-010 which provides requirements to all Medi-Cal managed care plans (MCPs) on the subacute care facility Long Term Care (LTC) benefit standardization provisions detailed in the CalAIM initiative, including the mandatory transition of Medi-Cal members to managed care.
- DHCS APL 24-011 which provides requirements to all Medi-Cal managed care plans (MCPs) for the Long-Term Care (LTC) Intermediate Care Facility/Home for members with developmental disabilities services, in accordance with the CalAIM initiative.
