The Alliance supports women of all ages to make improvements to their overall health. Here are some resources and services you can help us share with members to further our vision of healthy people, healthy communities.
Preventative care
We encourage members to get regular checkups with their doctor. We provide tips on how to build trust and good communication so they can get the most out of their health care.
On our blog, we share information on the importance of health screenings as part of preventative care. Topics include how breast cancer screening saves lives and when adults should schedule their colorectal cancer screenings.
Lifestyle habits
Healthy eating and physical activity can reduce the risk of obesity-related health problems. The Alliance offers workshops that help members learn how to better manage their health and live with chronic conditions, such as our Healthier Living Program.
Behavioral health
Behavioral health is an important part of overall health and wellness. Alliance members can get mental health services through our partner, Carelon Behavioral Health. The toll-free access line is available 24/7 at 855-765-9700.
Prenatal and postpartum care
The Alliance offers a Healthy Moms and Healthy Babies (HMHB) program. This program helps pregnant women get early prenatal and postpartum care. Health educators share information about prenatal and postpartum health, breastfeeding, pediatric care and parenting.
