About Sprinter Health
Sprinter Health is a medical practice that provides in-home visits with highly trained “Sprinters.” Sprinters are phlebotomists trained to have a combination of Medical Assistant and Community Health Worker skills. Sprinter Health focuses on members that have historically been disengaged and attempts to engage them through targeted outreach, providing services in a members’ home.
The Alliance will leverage this program to close gaps in care for Alliance members in Merced County for an initial pilot year.
Who can access care through Sprinter
Not all members can seek care though Sprinter Health. Sprinter will target members who are eligible. If you have questions about whether a member is eligible, talk to your Provider Services representative.
