Breast cancer awareness and screening

Community Icon

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Alliance is encouraging members to schedule a mammogram with their doctor if they haven’t had one in the past year. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States, and early detection is key for treatment.

Mammograms are covered by the Alliance for members ages 35 and older. If members need help finding a doctor, they can call Member Services at 800-700-3874, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
