Alliance Strategic Plan 2022-2026

The Alliance’s vision of Healthy People, Healthy Communities is what we consider to be the fullest realization of the Alliance’s mission of accessible, quality health care guided by local innovation. By aligning our innovation efforts with our values of equity and improvement, we can go beyond access and quality to improve the overall health of our members and communities. This is the good stuff. It is also really challenging work!

In today’s health care environment, making measurable progress towards our vision takes focus, clarity and alignment. A strategic plan provides a roadmap to ensure collective alignment, focus and impactful action within the Alliance and with our community partners.

Over the next five years, the Alliance will focus on the strategic priorities of Health Equity and Person Centered Delivery System Transformation. In those priority areas, we have identified four goals to be achieved in five years:

  • Eliminate health disparities and achieve optimal health outcomes for children and youth.
  • Increase member access to culturally and linguistically appropriate health care.
  • Improve behavioral health services and systems to be person-centered and equitable.
  • Improve the system of care for members with complex medical and social needs.

Progress in these areas will require that we learn from and work with our providers, members and community partners.

The past two years have demonstrated that there is no time like the present to take focused, measurable steps towards improved health. Our vision is bold to be sure, but the Alliance has a history of being successful when we pull together in the same direction, leverage everyone’s talents and abilities, and work collaboratively towards what matters most. You are vital to our success and we look forward to continuing this journey with you.
