Digital ID now available, diabetes workshop + upcoming physician drug changes
Digital ID now available to Alliance members
As of September 2024, the Alliance is offering our members a digital copy of their Alliance ID card. Members can call Alliance Member Services to receive a secure text to download a copy of their ID instantly to their smartphone. Heads of household can request a digital ID for their dependents as well.
To get a digital Alliance ID card, Alliance members can call Member Services at 800-700-3874 (TTY: Dial 711), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The goal of the digital ID card is to enhance member access to their ID information to help prepare them for their appointments, and to encourage use of their Alliance benefits and services.
Note: new Alliance members will still get a printed copy of their Alliance member ID card in the mail with their enrollment packets. Members may also still request a printed replacement of their ID by calling Member Services, but it will take up to 10 business days to be mailed to them.
If your office needs a photocopy of the member’s ID for your records, you can take a photocopy or scan of the digital ID:
- Ask the member to pull up their member ID on their phone screen. We recommend asking the member to turn off phone notifications before making the photocopy.
- Place the phone face down in the copier/scanner glass as you would any document.
Note: the photocopy will come out as a black and white image of the phone screen, even if the photocopy is taken in color.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Provider Relations Representative or call 831-430-5504.
