Get help with immigration and health care

alliance-icon-member

We know that some members may have questions or worries about possible changes to immigration and health care rules. We’re here to help you and your family.

We want you to know that:

  • Medi-Cal is still open for everyone who is eligible.
  • Nothing has changed about who can get Medi-Cal or what it covers. Beginning in January 2026, some members will see a change in their health care benefits and access. Visit the DHCS Medi-Cal page to learn what’s changing and how it may affect you.
  • You should keep seeing your doctor to get the care you need.

Need care from the comfort of home? You have options.

While you can continue seeing your doctor, we understand that some members may prefer to get care without leaving home right now. The Alliance has several ways to help you get care at no cost and without going in person to a clinic or doctor’s office.

Here’s how you can get care from home:

  • Your doctor: Call your doctor to ask if they offer phone or video visits (called telehealth). You can find their phone number on your Alliance member ID card.
  • Nurse Advice Line: Call 844-971-8907 (TTY: Dial 711) any time, day or night. A nurse can answer your health questions, help you decide if you need care right away, and tell you what to do next.
  • Rocket Doctor: Call 844-996-3763 or book online. You can talk to a doctor on your phone or on your computer.
  • Zócalo Health: Call 213-855-3465 or book online. You can talk to a doctor or promotora de salud on your phone or on your computer.
