We have an opportunity to join the Alliance as an Application Analyst III in the Application Services Department. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Reporting to the Application Manager this position:

  • Provide medium- to high-level support and expertise related to systems configuration, research and analysis, and State policy and procedure implementation, in support of the Application Analyst IV
  • Support the Application Analyst IV and Application Services leadership in the analysis of Alliance business procedures, performance of medium to high level complexity systems configuration, and conducting related research
  • Provide core systems technology training and subject matter expertise to Alliance staff in coordination with other Application Analysts, Application Services leadership, and the Training and Development Department

 

ABOUT THE TEAM

Manages, develops, and integrates software solutions for the Alliance to ensure mission goals and regulatory requirements are processed efficiently, timely, and accurately.

  • Has excellent business analyst skills
  • Is proficient with systems configurations
  • Enjoys working cross-functionally to understand internal needs and design systems accordingly
  • A healthcare background, Medical/ Managed Care is a plus!

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Knowledge of:
    • Software product lifecycle management, from defining requirements to implementation
    • Technical/technology implementation processes, including the integration of systems, the application of information management, and project management
    • The Medicaid Program, the methods of product configuration in a Medicaid/Medicare environment, and medical terminology, related procedures, and national diagnostic coding
    •  Research, analysis, reporting methods, performance metrics and statistics
  • Ability to:
    • Understand business issues and work flow challenges of the organization and industry
    • Analyze and write process maps, work instructions, and documentation
    • Train, guide, and act as a technical resource to staff
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, organize work, maintain accurate records, and achieve goals and timelines
    • Translate business requirements into detailed product requirements
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Information Technology, Information Science, or a related field and a minimum of five years (or a Master’s degree and three years) of product configuration experience which included some experience related to training staff and a minimum of three years of experience in a managed health care environment; or An equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying

 

OTHER DETAILS

  • While this position is connected to one of our Alliance offices, we are in hybrid remote/in-office work environment right now and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely.
  • Our Alliance office locations have officially re-opened as of May 2, 2022 and while some employees may work in full-time telecommute schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.
  • Based on the nature of work, this position may require onsite presence, which is dependent on business need. Details about this can be reviewed during the interview process.

 

The full compensation range for this position is listed by location below. 

The actual compensation for this role will be determined by our compensation philosophy, analysis of the selected candidate's qualifications (direct or transferrable experience related to the position, education or training), as well as other factors (internal equity, market factors, and geographic location).

 

Compensation Range
$94,613.67$151,382.40 USD
