Alliance members can now receive their Member ID cards digitally on their cell phones! This exciting new feature allows members to securely access their ID cards instantly, without waiting up to 10 business days for a physical card to arrive in the mail.
Key points
- Members can request a digital ID card by calling Member Services at 800-700-3874.
- The digital ID is sent via secure text message to the member’s phone.
- Over 1,100 digital ID cards have been generated since the launch in early September.
- Providers can take a photocopy of a member’s digital ID from the member’s phone by placing the phone face down in the copier/scanner glass as you would any document.
