The Alliance’s Medi-Cal Capacity Grant Program (MCGP) invests in health care and community organizations in Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties.
Applications for the Round 3 grant cycle are currently being accepted for the following funding opportunities.
| Funding Opportunity | Description |
| Community Health Worker (CHW) Recruitment | Subsidizes health care organizations to recruit and hire CHWs to provide the compensable CHW benefit to the Medi-Cal population in the Alliance service areas. |
| Healthcare Technology | Supports the purchase and implementation of specific types of technology and infrastructure that expand capacity for organizations that serve the Medi-Cal population in the Alliance service areas. |
| Provider Recruitment | Subsidizes health care organizations to recruit and hire new health care professionals who will serve the Medi-Cal population in the Alliance service areas, including providers of primary care, specialty care and behavioral health services. |
