Medi-Cal Fee-for-Service changes are coming
Starting January 1, 2027, some Alliance members will move from the Alliance to Medi-Cal Fee-for-Service (FFS).
This change is required by a new federal rule. It was not made by the Alliance.
If this change affects you, you are not losing your Medi-Cal. You will still have Medi-Cal, but the way you get your care will change. Fee-for-Service does not mean you pay. Medi-Cal will still pay for your covered care.
This change affects some members based on their immigration status. If you are affected, it is important to know what will change and what you can do before January 1.
