With several Medi-Cal changes on the horizon, the Alliance continues to remind members to take concrete steps to complete their Medi-Cal renewal on time. It is critical for members to know the deadline for their renewal application and take these three steps:
- Complete it: Fill out the required renewal information.
- Check it: To avoid any delays, make sure all requested materials are completed.
- Return it: Submit the renewal on time.
Medi-Cal renewals can be completed via BenefitsCal or the applicable county Medi-Cal office.
Resources to help members renew
The Alliance has resources community partners can use to connect members with renewal assistance and share important reminders, including:
- Shareable flyers.
- Renewal information on the Alliance’s Facebook page, which community partners are encouraged to reshare on their own channels.
Supporting renewal efforts across our communities
These resources are part of a broader effort to help Medi-Cal members maintain coverage complete their renewals. The Alliance launched a yearlong bilingual paid outreach campaign across television, social media, billboards and mobile advertising and has awarded $3.2 million in grants to 23 community-based partners to strengthen outreach, education and hands-on renewal support.
