On Friday, April 22, Alliance staff attended the ribbon cutting for Mission Merced’s Village of Hope. Construction of Hope Respite Care, the recuperative care facility on the new five-acre campus, was funded in part by a grant from the Alliance’s Medi-Cal Capacity Grant Program.

Mission Merced provides housing and other resources for individuals experiencing homelessness, including Medi-Cal members. Since housing is a key social determinant of health, the Village of Hope represents a significant investment toward the Alliance vision of Healthy People, Healthy Communities.
