Elderday Adult Day Health Care, a program of Community Bridges, celebrated the grand opening of its new building in Watsonville. The program provides services like physical therapy, nutritious food and social interactions for older adults while giving caregivers a much-needed respite.

The new building was funded by a $2.5 million Capital Implementation grant and a $150,000 Capital Planning grant from Central California Alliance for Health (the Alliance) through the Medi-Cal Capacity Grant Program. Alliance CEO Michael Schrader and Grants Director Jessica Finney attended the ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct. 12.
