The Alliance is teaming up with community partners to help local residents keep their Medi-Cal coverage. The Alliance has partnered with the Merced County Human Services Agency, the County of Monterey Department of Social Services and the Santa Cruz Human Services Department to host training sessions for Community Health Workers, promotoras and other member-facing partners. The trainings cover:
- The Medi-Cal application and renewal process.
- An overview of the BenefitsCal platform.
- Current and upcoming Medi-Cal changes.
- Alliance resources to support renewal efforts.
In total, we had 270 community partners attend, representing about 54 local community organizations.
