Mobile mammography screenings, Essette transition + Behavioral Health moves in-house!

Mobile mammography: Bringing breast cancer screenings to your practice

The Alliance, in partnership with Alinea Medical Imaging, is offering on-site, no-cost mammography services to women ages 40-74 years old. These services can be offered at your practice!

How it works

Scheduling: Clinics schedule patients interested in the mobile mammography services, then send the list to Alinea, who verifies insurance and eligibility for the Every Woman Counts program.

Participants: Events require at least 30 participants to be scheduled. Flyers with event details are available to hand out to members.

Incentives: Members with Alliance as their primary insurance will receive a $50 Target gift card through our Point of Care Incentive program.

The mobile unit will be fully equipped with state-of-the-art digital mammography technology and staffed by certified radiologic technologists. Mammograms will be conducted in a private, comfortable setting and results will be sent directly to the patient’s primary care provider.

How to book

If you are interested in booking a mobile mammography event at your practice, email us at [email protected] or contact a Provider Relations Representative at 800-700-3874, ext. 5504. We will put you in touch with Alinea.

Access to Essette ending August 1, 2025

Effective August 1, 2025, the Alliance’s previous authorization system, Essette, will no longer be accessible for viewing or editing authorizations submitted prior to July 14, 2024.

If you need to submit a change request for an authorization in the system after this date, please follow the same process used for authorizations in the new Jiva system and submit the change request to the Alliance UM department by fax or email.

If you have a question about an authorization in the old system after August 1st, please call the Alliance UM department at 831-430-5506.

Behavioral Health webinars now available

Starting July 1, the Alliance will provide behavioral health services, previously offered through Carelon. Moving forward, behavioral health providers will need to contract directly with the Alliance to continue serving our members. This one-stop referral process will enable a more seamless and consistent experience for both providers and members alike!
