Our service areas are diverse. Our members come from many cultures and backgrounds. We know that our communities are stronger because of immigrants. This is a time to celebrate all the ways that immigrants give to and share in our communities.

Medi-Cal for immigrant families
At the Alliance, we care about equity year-round. We want Medi-Cal members to know that they can safely get health care services. This is true regardless of immigration status. Under the public charge rule, immigrants can get many public benefits without fear that it will affect their immigration status. This includes Medi-Cal. Our staff and provider network know that person-centered care is important. We work to provide care that helps all members feel seen and heard. We want to meet your health care needs so that you can be as healthy as possible.
If you do not speak English, don’t worry. The Alliance has language assistance for our members. You can get interpreter services and information in your preferred language.
If you are a Medi-Cal member and you need help getting health care services, we are here for you! Please call our Member Services team at 800-700-3874, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Community resources
Community organizations and schools offer resources for immigrant families. Talk to your child’s school staff to ask about programs. Another resource for migrants is the Central Coast Citizenship Project.
