CHWs work in various settings, including health clinics, hospitals and community health centers. If you or a CHW training candidate you know would like to apply for the program, go to the Monterey County Workforce Development Board website.
Program Details:
- Classes start Thursday, November 9, 2023, and end Sunday, April 24, 2024.
- Online classes are held 1-2 evenings per week from 6 to 9 p.m. and on select Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 pm.
- 5-week internship beginning in March 2024 and ending in early April 2024.
