September 2021 Virtual Immunization Training

The Alliance is partnering with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to host an Immunization virtual training for our network on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

 

What will be discussed:

  • County Updates (Merced, Monterey, and Santa Cruz)
  • Flu Vaccine Coding Refresher
  • Flu Season and Co-Administration of Vaccines training with Steven Vantine, Education Consultant with CDPH

HRSA DATA 2000 Waiver Training Payment Program

Are you a Federally Qualfiied Health Center or Rural Health Clinic provider? Did you obtain an X-license on or after January 1, 2019? Please read more!

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced that certified federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and rural health clinics (RHCs) can apply for a one-time payment of $3,000 for every prescriber who works in their clinics who has received a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine on or after January 1, 2019.

The DATA 2000 Waiver Training Payment Program aims to improve health care, including for rural populations, by promoting greater access to substance use disorder treatment through payments to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs). HRSA will begin accepting applications June 30, 2021 and will process payments on a first-come, first-served basis until all available funds are exhausted.
