DEIB Training Attestation Form

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) All Plan Letter (APL) 24-016 requires all Managed Care Plan (MCP) Network Providers to complete a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training program.

The DEI training must be region-specific and address health-related social needs within the MCP’s service area, including regional demographics and disparities affecting the member population. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Seniors and Persons with Disabilities (SPD)
• Individuals with chronic conditions
• Members with Specialty Mental Health Services and/or Substance Use Disorder needs
• Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Children with special health care needs

The DEI training program must also include all components required under DHCS APL 24-016.
