Lactation consultant services

If you need support with breastfeeding after your baby is born, we can connect you with lactation consultant services.

Breast pumps

Alliance members may get certain manual or electric breast pumps and covered breast pump supplies without prior approval. There are a few ways to access this benefit:

• Your doctor can submit a request to a durable medical equipment (DME) provider to request a breast pump for you.
• Your doctor can provide you with a note to take to a DME location that accepts Medi-Cal and has the breast pump you are interested in.
