Nurse Advice Line

Community Icon

Community organizations play a crucial role in connecting Alliance members with essential health resources. One of the most valuable services we offer is our Nurse Advice Line. This service provides immediate health advice and support to our members, helping them make informed health care decisions without having to make a doctor appointment or an unnecessary visit to the emergency room.

Currently, many of our members rely on the ER for non-emergency issues. Using emergency rooms for preventive care can drive up costs for taxpayers, increase the burden on providers and reduce the quality of patient care. By promoting use of the Nurse Advice Line, we hope to cut down on the rate of preventable ER visits and better serve our members.

24/7 support

Whether it’s the middle of the night or during a holiday, members can call and speak with a registered nurse. This ensures that they receive timely advice, especially when it might be difficult to reach their primary care physician.

Immediate health guidance

The Nurse Advice Line can help with a variety of health concerns. From understanding symptoms to managing chronic conditions, our nurses provide guidance on what steps to take next.

Accessible and convenient

To access the Nurse Advice Line, members can call 844-971-8907 (TTY: Dial 711). This service is available to all Alliance members and at no cost. Our nurses are trained to handle a wide range of health issues and can provide information in multiple languages to accommodate our diverse community.
