Health Plans
Central California Alliance for Health (the Alliance) provides health coverage to the following two health plans:
Medi-Cal
Medi-Cal is a health plan for eligible persons who live in Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties. When you have Medi-Cal, the Alliance works with the State of California to help you get the health care you need.
Alliance Care IHSS
Alliance Care IHSS is a health plan for eligible persons who are registered with the Monterey County Public Authority for In-Home Supportive Services (the Public Authority). This plan is for persons who provide in-home support services in Monterey County.
Full-scope Medi-Cal expansion for ages 26-49
As of January 1, 2024, a new law in California extends eligibility for full scope Medi-Cal to people 26 through 49 who meet all Medi-Cal eligibility criteria.
