This training is for educators, school personnel and early care providers to:
- Recognize and respond to trauma and stress in children.
- Share strategies for creating safe and supportive learning environments.
Presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.
- Define the key concepts related to adversity, trauma and toxic stress and their impact on the health of children and youth.
- Discuss the possible outcomes, opportunities and challenges of providing trauma-informed care in educational and care settings.
