Supporting our members with immigration and health care resources

Community Icon

The Alliance is committed to supporting members and their families through times of change. We know that some community members may have questions about immigration and health care and we want them to know they are not alone. For most Medi-Cal enrollees, nothing will change — eligibility and benefits remain the same.

We recently launched a resource page to connect people with:

  • Information about Medi-Cal eligibility.
  • Local and state legal aid.
  • Programs available regardless of immigration status.
  • Mental health and wellness support.
  • County-specific services in Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz.
  • Resource links to find out what’s changing in 2026 and how it may impact

To help members get the care they need, we’re highlighting no-cost telehealth options and sending texting campaigns reminding families to redetermine eligibility. Options for no-cost telehealth include:

By sharing these resources, we aim to give members confidence that care is available, accessible and supportive of their needs. We encourage you, as community partners, to help spread the word. For the full list of resources, visit our Immigration Help page.
