Medi-Cal members can apply for up to a $30 monthly discount on their internet per household. This new benefit is available through the Affordable Connectivity Program.
Members can also get a one-time device discount up to $100 for a laptop, desktop computer or tablet that is purchased through a participating provider if they pay a $10 but less than $50 co-pay.
How to apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program
Members can apply for this benefit by visiting AffordableConnectivity.gov or calling 877-384-2575 (TTY: Dial 711) to request an application. Parents or guardians of Medi-Cal members can also apply. Once the application is complete, they can contact a participating internet service provider to start getting a monthly discount for their internet service or a one-time device discount.
