The Alliance provides a number of funding opportunities for community organizations through the Medi-Cal Capacity Grant Program (MCGP). See the information below to find out more about programs that are currently accepting applications, not accepting applications or have been retired.
Currently Accepting Applications
Equity Learning for Health Professionals Program
Applications are currently being accepted from Merced, Monterey and Santa Cruz counties. Learn more.

Workforce Recruitment Programs
Workforce recruitment programs provide funding to support health care and community organizations in their efforts to recruit and hire personnel who will serve the Medi-Cal population in Merced, Monterey and Santa Cruz counties. Funding is available through the Community Health Worker, Medical Assistant and Provider Recruitment programs. Learn more.
Not Accepting Applications
Applications for new projects are no longer being accepted (effective 1/22/20). Learn more.
Grantees with existing Capital Planning grants may still apply for Implementation grants in future application cycles based on their project timeline. Funding for Implementation grants is reserved for those entities with existing Planning grants; however, Implementation grants are not guaranteed and must be applied for separately.
Retired Programs
Grants to community-based organizations to help Medi-Cal members impacted by COVID-19 to receive supplies for basic needs such as food, hygiene and sanitation supplies.
